A formal qualification (fagbrev) is desirable, but extensive experience and relevant knowledge and passion for the food industry will also be taken into consideration. We bake all our cakes in-house, so experience and expertise in this area are also preferred.

Mon Ami is a French-inspired restaurant located at City Nord in Bodø, and was originally established in 1993 as a French café in the city center. The key items on the menu were onion soup, croissants, and Edith Piaf.

The current owners of the restaurant took over the operation in November 1998 and further developed the French-inspired concept, and the French style is still maintained with a warm and inviting atmosphere. Over the years, Mon Ami has established itself as one of Bodø's most visited restaurants, offering a wide and varied menu that covers breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

One of our signature dishes is the Baked Potato with various delicious toppings, famous nationwide. In June 2011, we opened Mon Ami Restaurant at the City Nord shopping center, with success from day one. We also have a popular outdoor seating area in the summer. Mon Ami’s philosophy is to serve homemade, flavorful food made with love, in an oasis of great atmosphere.
